Eng. Sandra Pedraza holds Master’s Degrees on Science in Metallurgical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. She is the Director of the Act Global, Technology Accelerator at Universidad Ana G. Mendez, Gurabo Campus (formerly known as Universidad del Turabo).  She is former Director of the Innovation and Commercialization Office at UAGM Gurabo Campus, leader,  and a fellow of the Pathways for Innovation Program (National Science Foundation, Epicenter, and Stanford University). Eng. Pedraza led the High School Enterprise initiative in Puerto Rico from 2009 to 2012, bringing innovation and entrepreneurship experiences to high school students in three schools in Caguas and Juncos. She was also responsible for the Multidisciplinary Entrepreneurial Program for Innovation (MEPI) at the university, mentoring students’ commercialization initiatives as part of the Program for Innovation program from the National Science Foundation.
